Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture while alternating with milk.
  6. Fold in chopped nuts and dried fruits.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool before serving.
