Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Prepare the stuffing by sautéing onion and celery in butter.
  3. Add bread crumbs, cranberries, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Stuff the turkey with the mixture and place in a roasting pan.
  5. Rub the turkey with butter and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Pour chicken broth into the pan.
  7. Roast for 3-4 hours, basting every hour.
  8. Check for doneness; internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
  9. Let it rest for 20 minutes before carving.
