  • 2 oranges, quartered
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon thyme
  • 1 tablespoon rosemary
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pat the duck dry with paper towels.
  3. Season the duck inside and out with salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
  4. Stuff the cavity with oranges, onion, and garlic.
  5. Place the duck in a roasting pan and pour chicken broth around it.
  6. Brush the duck skin with honey.
  7. Roast for 1.5 to 2 hours, basting every 30 minutes.
  8. Let the duck rest for 15 minutes before carving.
