A flavorful and festive Christmas duck recipe.
Ingrédients

- 1 whole duck (5–6 lbs)
- 2 oranges, quartered
- 1 onion, quartered
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon thyme
- 1 tablespoon rosemary
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon honey
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat the duck dry with paper towels.
- Season the duck inside and out with salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
- Stuff the cavity with oranges, onion, and garlic.
- Place the duck in a roasting pan and pour chicken broth around it.
- Brush the duck skin with honey.
- Roast for 1.5 to 2 hours, basting every 30 minutes.
- Let the duck rest for 15 minutes before carving.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness.
- Serve with your choice of sides.
- Leftovers can be used in salads or sandwiches.
