- 1 can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread the cherry pie filling on the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Layer the crushed pineapple over the cherry filling.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the fruit.
- Top with chopped pecans.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
- Can be made a day ahead and reheated.
- Feel free to mix berries for a different flavor.
