Description

  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 50g powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Chocolate shavings for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Beat eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder.
  4. Gently fold dry ingredients into the egg mixture.
  5. Pour batter into a lined baking sheet and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until springy to touch.
  7. Let cool and roll the cake into a log shape.
  8. Whip cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
  9. Unroll the cake, spread cream, and re-roll tightly.
  10. Cover the log with remaining cream and decorate with chocolate shavings.
