- 1 whole turkey (12–14 lbs)
- 4 cups stuffing
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon rosemary
- 1 tablespoon thyme
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare stuffing and fill turkey cavity.
- Rub turkey with butter, salt, pepper, rosemary, and thyme.
- Place turkey in a roasting pan and pour chicken broth into the pan.
- Cover with foil and roast for 3 hours.
- Remove foil and roast for an additional hour until golden brown.
- Let turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer to check internal temperature (165°F).
- Let leftovers cool before refrigerating.
