Ingrédients

  • 1 whole turkey (1214 lbs)
  • 4 cups stuffing
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Prepare stuffing and fill turkey cavity.
  3. Rub turkey with butter, salt, pepper, rosemary, and thyme.
  4. Place turkey in a roasting pan and pour chicken broth into the pan.
  5. Cover with foil and roast for 3 hours.
  6. Remove foil and roast for an additional hour until golden brown.
  7. Let turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
