Ingrédients

- 4 lbs of beef roast
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 sprigs of rosemary
- 1 cup of beef broth
- 1 cup of red wine
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Rub the beef roast with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Place the garlic and rosemary on top of the roast.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the roast on all sides.
- Transfer the roast to a baking dish and pour the beef broth and red wine around it.
- Cover with foil and bake for 2 hours.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
- Let rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
