Description
Crispy and light Christmas meringue cookies.
Ingrédients

- 3 large egg whites
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 225°F (110°C).
- In a clean bowl, beat egg whites and cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.
- Mix in vanilla extract.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of meringue onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 1 hour or until dry and crisp.
- Turn off the oven and let cookies cool inside for 1 hour.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- Make sure there is no yolk in the egg whites.
