Ingrédients

  • 100g raisins
  • 100g sultanas
  • 50g currants
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 100g breadcrumbs
  • 100g suet
  • 1 tsp mixed spice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 eggs
  • 150ml milk
  • 50ml brandy

Instructions

  1. Combine all dried fruits in a bowl.
  2. Add brown sugar, breadcrumbs, and suet.
  3. Mix in spices and eggs.
  4. Stir in milk and brandy until well combined.
  5. Pour mixture into a pudding basin.
  6. Cover with parchment paper and foil.
  7. Steam for 6 hours, topping up water as needed.
  8. Let cool completely before serving.
  9. Reheat by steaming again before serving.
