Description
Traditional Christmas pudding made with dried fruits and spices.
Ingrédients

- 200g mixed dried fruits
- 100g raisins
- 100g sultanas
- 50g currants
- 100g brown sugar
- 100g breadcrumbs
- 100g suet
- 1 tsp mixed spice
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 2 eggs
- 150ml milk
- 50ml brandy
Instructions
- Combine all dried fruits in a bowl.
- Add brown sugar, breadcrumbs, and suet.
- Mix in spices and eggs.
- Stir in milk and brandy until well combined.
- Pour mixture into a pudding basin.
- Cover with parchment paper and foil.
- Steam for 6 hours, topping up water as needed.
- Let cool completely before serving.
- Reheat by steaming again before serving.
Notes
- Can be made weeks in advance.
- Store in a cool, dark place.
- Serve with brandy sauce or custard.
