Ingrédients

- 2 tablespoons sugar

- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water, 2 tablespoons sugar, salt, and vegetable oil. Bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour until mixture forms a ball.
- Let cool for 10 minutes. Then beat in eggs and vanilla until smooth.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
- Spoon dough into a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
- Pipe 4-inch strips into hot oil, cutting with scissors.
- Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Mix 1 cup sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Drain churros on paper towels and roll in sugar mixture.
