Description
Cinnamon Crunch Knots are sweet, twisted pastries coated in cinnamon sugar.
Ingrédients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes.
- Add melted butter, sugar, egg, and salt. Mix well.
- Gradually add flour. Knead until smooth.
- Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out dough and cut into strips.
- Twist each strip and form into knots.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon. Coat knots in the mixture.
- Place knots on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk for glaze. Drizzle over knots.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Can be served warm or at room temperature.
