Description

Classic creamy rice pudding is a comforting dessert made with rice, milk, and sugar.


Ingrédients

  • 4 cups whole milk

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 large eggs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water.
  2. In a saucepan, combine rice, milk, sugar, and salt.
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until rice is tender.
  4. Add vanilla extract and cinnamon.
  5. If using, whisk eggs in a bowl and slowly add a bit of the hot rice mixture to temper them.
  6. Stir the egg mixture back into the pudding and cook for a few more minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving.
