Description
Classic creamy rice pudding is a comforting dessert made with rice, milk, and sugar.
Ingrédients

- 1 cup Arborio rice
- 4 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 large eggs (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse the rice under cold water.
- In a saucepan, combine rice, milk, sugar, and salt.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until rice is tender.
- Add vanilla extract and cinnamon.
- If using, whisk eggs in a bowl and slowly add a bit of the hot rice mixture to temper them.
- Stir the egg mixture back into the pudding and cook for a few more minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm or chilled.
- Top with additional cinnamon or raisins if desired.
