Ingrédients

  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 500g ground beef
  • 100g pancetta, diced
  • 400g canned tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, carrots, and celery. Cook until softened.
  3. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add ground beef and pancetta. Brown the meat.
  5. Stir in canned tomatoes, tomato paste, red wine, and beef broth.
  6. Add oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  7. Simmer for at least 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  8. Serve with pasta and top with Parmesan cheese.
