A festive clock cake perfect for New Year’s Eve celebrations.

- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup fondant for decorations

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and milk. Gradually mix into the butter mixture.
- Divide the batter evenly between prepared pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cakes cool for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks.
- Once cooled, stack the cakes and cover with frosting.
- Decorate with fondant to create a clock face.
- Finish with edible glitter.
