Description
Coconut cream bars are a delicious dessert made with a creamy coconut filling and a crunchy crust.

- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 cup coconut cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, shredded coconut, and melted butter.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a baking dish to form the crust.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then remove and let cool.
- In another bowl, combine coconut cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Spread the coconut cream mixture over the cooled crust.
- If desired, sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- For a stronger coconut flavor, add more shredded coconut.
