Description
Coffee macarons are delicate French cookies made with almond flour and filled with rich coffee-flavored ganache.
Ingrédients

- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 3 large egg whites
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon instant coffee
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 4 oz dark chocolate
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a bowl, sift almond flour and powdered sugar together.
- In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until foamy, then gradually add granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Mix in instant coffee.
- Fold in the almond flour mixture gently.
- Pipe small circles onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Let the macarons rest for 30 minutes to form a skin.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until set.
- For the filling, heat heavy cream and pour over chopped dark chocolate; stir until smooth.
- Let the ganache cool, then pipe it onto half of the macaron shells and sandwich with the other halves.
Notes
- Use a kitchen scale for accurate measurements.
- Ensure egg whites are at room temperature.
- Allow macarons to cool completely before filling.
