Description
This recipe replicates the famous Five Guys Cajun fries using an air fryer or oven.
Ingrédients

- 4 large russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Wash and peel the potatoes.
- Cut potatoes into thin strips.
- Soak the potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes.
- Drain and pat the potatoes dry.
- In a bowl, toss the potatoes with vegetable oil and Cajun seasoning.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Alternatively, bake in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) for 25-30 minutes.
- Remove from heat and season with salt to taste.
Notes
- Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of the fries.
- For extra crispiness, soak potatoes longer.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
