Description

Coquito is a traditional Puerto Rican coconut-based alcoholic beverage, similar to eggnog.


Ingrédients

  • 1 can cream of coconut
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup white rum
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Combine coconut milk, cream of coconut, and sweetened condensed milk in a blender.
  2. Add white rum, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Blend until smooth and well mixed.
  4. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  5. Serve cold in small glasses, garnished with additional cinnamon if desired.

Notes

  • Coquito can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
  • Adjust the amount of rum to taste.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, omit the rum.
