- 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Stir in the oats, chocolate chips, and nuts.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- For chewier cookies, slightly underbake them.
- You can substitute raisins for chocolate chips if desired.
