- 2 pounds fresh spinach
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; sauté until soft.
- Add spinach to the pot and cook until wilted. Drain excess water.
- In a bowl, mix heavy cream, cream cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
- Add the spinach mixture to the cheese sauce. Stir well.
- Transfer to a baking dish and top with breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add nutmeg to the cheese sauce.
- Use frozen spinach if fresh is not available; just thaw and drain it well.
