A rich and creamy baked macaroni and cheese dish.
Ingrédients

- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add flour, salt, pepper, and paprika; stir for 2 minutes.
- Gradually whisk in milk; cook until thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in 3 cups of cheese until melted.
- Add cooked macaroni to cheese sauce; mix well.
- Transfer to a baking dish and top with remaining cheese and breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Notes
- Use different cheese for variation.
- Can add cooked bacon or vegetables for extra flavor.
