  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Cook elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced chicken, salt, and black pepper. Cook until chicken is browned and cooked through.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  5. Add garlic powder and onion powder to the sauce. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  6. Combine the cooked macaroni, chicken, honey, and cheese sauce in a large bowl. Mix well.
  7. Transfer to a baking dish and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes until bubbly.
