Description
A delicious creamy Jamaican shrimp rasta pasta dish that combines the flavors of the Caribbean with a rich sauce.
Ingrédients

- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup red bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper, sliced
- 1/4 cup onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Jamaican jerk seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add bell peppers and jerk seasoning, stir for 2 minutes.
- Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, bring to a simmer.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, toss to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, cook for another 2 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less jerk seasoning.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like spinach or zucchini.
- Use shrimp or chicken based on your preference.
