Ingrédients

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cumin

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Soak chickpeas in water overnight.
  2. Drain and rinse the chickpeas.
  3. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro, cumin, coriander, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Process until the mixture is coarse but holds together.
  5. Form the mixture into small balls or patties.
  6. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  7. Fry the falafel until golden brown on all sides.
  8. Remove and drain on paper towels.
