- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cans of cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1 cup of frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 can of refrigerated biscuit dough
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Add frozen mixed vegetables to the crockpot.
- Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, tear biscuit dough into pieces and add to the crockpot.
- Cook until the dumplings are fluffy and cooked through.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add herbs like thyme or rosemary.
- You can substitute chicken thighs for chicken breasts.
- Adjust the amount of broth for desired consistency.
