Description
A crunchy chicken romesco sandwich packed with flavor.
Ingrédients

- 1 boneless chicken breast
- 1/2 cup romesco sauce
- 2 slices of crusty bread
- 1 cup lettuce
- 1/4 cup sliced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Cook the chicken breast for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove the chicken and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Spread romesco sauce on one side of each slice of bread.
- Layer lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and sliced chicken on one slice of bread.
- Top with the other slice of bread, sauce side down.
- Cut the sandwich in half and serve.
Notes
- For extra crunch, toast the bread before assembling.
- Feel free to add cheese for added flavor.
