Description
A simple recipe for cut out sugar cookies that you can decorate for any occasion.
Ingrédients

- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar together.
- Add the egg, vanilla, and almond extracts. Mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Chill the dough for at least 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into shapes.
- Place cookies on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes.
- Let them cool before decorating.
Notes
- You can use cookie cutters for different shapes.
- Decorate with icing or sprinkles if desired.
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
