This deer jerky recipe provides a flavorful and easy way to make your own jerky at home.

- 2 pounds venison, sliced into thin strips
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
Instructions
- Slice the venison into thin strips.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, and brown sugar.
- Marinate the venison strips in the mixture for at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Preheat your dehydrator or oven to 160°F (70°C).
- Arrange the marinated strips in a single layer on dehydrator trays or a baking sheet.
- Dehydrate or bake for 4-6 hours, or until the jerky is dry but still flexible.
- Let the jerky cool and store it in an airtight container.
