Description

Ingrédients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 lb chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
  4. Add chicken pieces, cook until browned.
  5. Stir in cumin, coriander, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.
  6. Add water and bring to a boil.
  7. Add rice, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  8. Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes.
  9. Fluff rice with a fork and garnish with parsley.
