A delicious breakfast cheese danish recipe that’s easy to make.

- 1 package puff pastry sheets
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp milk
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
- Cut the pastry into squares.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and egg.
- Spoon the cream cheese mixture onto the center of each pastry square.
- Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling.
- Mix the egg yolk and milk, and brush over the pastry.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add fruit toppings.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
