- 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

- 1/4 cup butter

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil the cubed potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
- Add butter, heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the potatoes.
- Mash the mixture until smooth.
- Stir in the cheddar and Parmesan cheeses until melted and combined.
- Transfer the potato mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Notes
- For a crispier top, broil for the last few minutes of baking.
- You can add cooked bacon or chives for extra flavor.
