Description
Deviled eggs are a classic appetizer made from hard-boiled eggs filled with a creamy yolk mixture.

- 6 large eggs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Fresh chives for garnish
Instructions
- Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot and covering with water. Bring to a boil, then cover and remove from heat for 12 minutes.
- Cool the eggs under cold running water and peel them.
- Slice the eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks.
- In a bowl, mash the yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture.
- Sprinkle with paprika and garnish with chives.

- Adjust seasoning to taste.
