  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 cup of green beans
  • 1 cup of mashed potatoes
  • 1 loaf of bread
  • 1 pumpkin pie

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Marinate the turkey with sour orange juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper for at least 4 hours.
  3. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover it with foil.
  4. Roast the turkey for 3-4 hours, basting every hour.
  5. Cook the rice according to package instructions, adding pigeon peas and bell peppers.
  6. Sauté onions in olive oil, then add green beans and cook until tender.
  7. Prepare mashed potatoes as desired.
  8. Serve the turkey with rice, green beans, mashed potatoes, and bread.
  9. Finish the meal with pumpkin pie for dessert.
