Description
A simple and delicious banana cream pie.
Ingrédients

- 1 pre-baked pie crust
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
- Add milk and cook over medium heat until thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
- Slice bananas and layer them in the pie crust.
- Pour the custard over the bananas.
- Whip the cream and spread it over the pie.
- Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use ripe bananas for better flavor.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Top with additional whipped cream if desired.
