Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
  2. Add milk and cook over medium heat until thickened.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
  4. Slice bananas and layer them in the pie crust.
  5. Pour the custard over the bananas.
  6. Whip the cream and spread it over the pie.
  7. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
