Easy Christmas cookies that are fun to make and delicious to eat.
Ingrédients

- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/4 cup colored sugar for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar together.
- Add egg and extracts to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Sprinkle colored sugar on top of each cookie.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until golden.
- Cool on wire racks.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- These cookies can be decorated with icing.
- Chill the dough for 30 minutes for a firmer cookie.
