This is a simple recipe for homemade bread that anyone can make.

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add olive oil, salt, and flour. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl. Cover and let it rise for 1 hour.
  5. Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.
  6. Place the loaf in a greased pan. Let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

  • For a crustier bread, place a pan of water in the oven while baking.
