Description

A simple recipe for Italian meatloaf that combines ground meat with classic Italian flavors.

  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  4. Spread marinara sauce over the top of the loaf.
  5. Bake for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  6. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
