Ingrédients
- Turkey – 1 whole (12-14 lbs)
- Butter – 1 cup
- Salt – 2 tablespoons
- Pepper – 1 tablespoon
- Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
- Onions – 2, chopped
- Carrots – 3, chopped
- Celery – 3 stalks, chopped
- Chicken broth – 4 cups
- Stuffing mix – 1 box
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F.
- Prepare the turkey by removing the giblets and patting it dry.
- Rub the turkey with butter, salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
- Stuff the turkey with the stuffing mix.
- Place turkey in a roasting pan and surround with chopped onions, carrots, and celery.
- Pour chicken broth over the vegetables.
- Cover with foil and roast for 3-4 hours, basting occasionally.
- Remove foil in the last hour for a golden finish.
- Check internal temperature, it should reach 165°F.
- Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.

- Keep leftover turkey in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
- Consider preparing side dishes ahead of time for convenience.
