Description
A classic egg nog recipe for the holidays.
Ingrédients

- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup bourbon or rum
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions
- In a bowl, beat the eggs until thick and pale.
- Gradually add the sugar and continue to beat until well combined.
- Stir in the milk, cream, bourbon or rum, vanilla extract, and nutmeg.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Serve in glasses and sprinkle with additional nutmeg if desired.
Notes
- Use fresh eggs for best flavor.
- Adjust the alcohol content to taste.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator and consume within 3 days.
