A delicious eggnog poke cake perfect for the holiday season.

- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup eggnog
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 cup whipped topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix cake mix, eggnog, eggs, and oil until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.
- Poke holes in the cake with a fork.
- In a bowl, mix powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, and nutmeg.
- Pour the mixture over the cake, allowing it to soak in.
- Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Top with whipped topping before serving.
