Description

Eggs Benedict is a classic breakfast dish featuring poached eggs, Canadian bacon, and hollandaise sauce on an English muffin.


Ingrédients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 slices Canadian bacon
  • 1/2 cup hollandaise sauce
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Toast the English muffins until golden brown.
  2. In a skillet, cook Canadian bacon until heated through.
  3. Fill a pot with water and bring to a simmer. Add vinegar.
  4. Crack eggs into a small bowl and gently slide them into the simmering water.
  5. Poach eggs for 3-4 minutes until whites are set and yolks are runny.
  6. Remove eggs with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  7. Assemble by placing bacon on each muffin half, adding poached eggs, and drizzling with hollandaise sauce.
