Description
Traditional Filipino dishes for New Year’s Eve celebration.
Ingrédients

- 1 cup of sticky rice
- 1 cup of coconut milk
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of ripe mango, diced
- 1/4 cup of grated coconut
- 1 cup of lumpia wrappers
- 1/2 pound of ground pork
- 1/4 cup of carrots, diced
- 1/4 cup of green beans, chopped
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Rinse sticky rice in water and soak for 4 hours.
- In a pot, combine coconut milk, sugar, and water. Heat until sugar dissolves.
- Add soaked sticky rice and cook until tender.
- Mix ground pork, carrots, green beans, and soy sauce in a bowl.
- Place a spoonful of the mixture in a lumpia wrapper and roll tightly.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry lumpia until golden brown.
- Serve sticky rice topped with diced mango and grated coconut.
Notes
- Sticky rice can be prepared a day ahead.
- Keep lumpia warm in the oven.
- Adjust sugar according to taste.
