Description
A simple and tasty jailhouse rice dish that is easy to prepare.
Ingrédients

- 2 cups of rice
- 4 cups of water
- 1 can of beans, drained
- 1 cup of corn
- 1 packet of taco seasoning
- 1 cup of diced tomatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
Instructions
- Rinse the rice under cold water.
- In a pot, bring water to a boil.
- Add rice and cook according to package instructions.
- In a separate pan, sauté onion and bell pepper until soft.
- Add beans, corn, diced tomatoes, and taco seasoning to the pan.
- Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
- Combine the cooked rice with the mixture and stir.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- This dish can be made vegetarian by using vegetable broth.
- Feel free to add your favorite spices.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
