Ingrédients

- 1 cup Gruyère cheese, grated
- 1 cup Emmental cheese, grated
- 1 clove garlic, halved
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon kirsch (cherry brandy)
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Bread cubes for dipping
Instructions
- Rub the inside of a fondue pot with garlic.
- Pour in the wine and lemon juice, and heat until simmering.
- Gradually add the cheeses, stirring constantly until melted and smooth.
- Dissolve cornstarch in kirsch and stir into the cheese mixture.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve with bread cubes for dipping.
