Description

A delicious melted cheese dish served with bread for dipping.


Ingrédients

  • 200g Gruyère cheese
  • 200g Emmental cheese
  • 300ml dry white wine
  • 1 clove garlic, halved
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon kirsch (cherry brandy)
  • Fresh bread, cut into cubes

Instructions

  1. Rub the inside of a fondue pot with garlic.
  2. Pour in the white wine and heat gently.
  3. Add the grated cheeses gradually, stirring constantly.
  4. Mix the cornstarch with kirsch and add to the cheese mix to thicken.
  5. Stir in lemon juice and keep warm.
  6. Serve with bread cubes for dipping.
