- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup caramelized onions
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, caramelized onions, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
- Spread Worcestershire sauce on top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 1 hour or until cooked through.
- In the last 10 minutes, sprinkle shredded Swiss cheese on top and return to the oven until melted.
Notes
- Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or a side salad.
