A delicious and easy overnight French toast casserole that is perfect for breakfast or brunch.


Ingrédients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Place the cubed bread in the dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes.
  5. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Drizzle with maple syrup before serving.
