Instructions

  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Boil for 4-5 minutes without stirring.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla extract.
  5. If using, fold in chopped nuts.
  6. Pour mixture into a greased 9×9 inch pan.
  7. Let it cool at room temperature until set.
  8. Cut into squares and serve.
