A delicious twist on classic funnel cake served as apple fries.

Instructions
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy pot to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add milk and vanilla to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Dip apple slices in the batter, coating them well.
- Carefully place the battered apple slices in hot oil.
- Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Dust with cinnamon sugar before serving.
