Garlic basil scalloped potatoes are a creamy and flavorful side dish that combines layers of thinly sliced potatoes with garlic and fresh basil.

- 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the dish.
- In a bowl, mix heavy cream, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Pour half of the cream mixture over the potatoes.
- Add half of the Parmesan cheese and half of the basil.
- Repeat with the remaining potatoes, cream, cheese, and basil.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
- You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
- Use a mandoline for even potato slices.
